I had a fantastic day on the water! The Oceanna is a very clean and spacious boat, one of the few that had seating for everyone. We had plenty of time to paddle infront of the glacier, gear was top notch, and overall the experience...More
I booked the Aialik glacier SUP tour(originally wanted the Bear glacier but they told it was closed so we decided to pay more for this) for tour in advance and planned all my Seward visit based on this, even planned extra day in case something...More
This was an awesome experience. The excursion costs $299 per person plus 7% tax. We paid half in advance and the rest there.
We arrived early, which was a smart move because it allowed us to use the restroom before putting on the waterproof suit...More
This was quite an adventure, in addition to kayaking right next to a glacier, our group was treated to some impromptu whale watching, puffin spotting, and even saw some seals and otters. It takes some physical effort, but it's worth it - you get to...More
I was a little hesitant about the water taxi/boat ride going into this trip, and that ended up being one of the best parts of the day. The captain was passionate about her business, and super friendly. Captain Jess was continually looking for wildlife (we...More
So, I will start with the positives. The location is fabulous! I went to Northwestern glacier. It was beautiful....amazing. The ferry that took us was new and comfortable and the captain Jess was great and very friendly and informative. That’s where the positive stops. Communication...More
You take a boat ride to a glacier. You get in a kayak and paddle close-ish to the glacier thru chunks of ice. A one day trip. The glacier was booming as chunks of ice fell into the bay.
It was a blast. But consider...More
Weather was simply not cooperating with our visit to Seward! Our kayaking trip had to be cancelled because an Ice Dam that has only broken 3 times in recorded history broke a few days before our arrival. The ladies worked tirelessly to rearrange our visit...More
We had an excellent experience with Liquid Adventures. We picked a two night/three day trip called The Holgate Ice Experience. Our guide Nate was top notch. He was skilled in kayaking, camping, Alaska weather, Alaska wildlife, the geography of the area and an all around...More
We arrived in Seward on the train and had no rental car plans. We decided to go to Exit Glacier and the ranger at a visitor center gave us the phone number for Liquid Adventures. It was $15 for each of us round trip. Our...More

With this being an "Adventure" on the water, it would have been nearly impossible for them to serve a "meal". Our guide served brownies & hot chocolate to each of us in our kayak as we took a break from paddling to enjoy the serenity & beauty. I believe alcohol is prohibited due to the safety of all. If you are looking for a "party-type" of adventure with food & drinks, this is not the trip for you. Liquid Adventures and their guides are really professional. Their goal is to provide a wonderful and SAFE experience allowing as much time as possible enjoying the adventure itself. Kayaking amongst the iceburgs from Bear Glacier was by far our favorite adventure in Alaska! Have recommended this trip to everyone since leaving and our pictures are brag-worthy :)
Yes they provide everything you'd need! We did the Bear glacier trip. Layers are good and 2 pairs of socks as feet trend to get cold. We were there on a particularly warm day but I've heard that's rare so good to layer up... More
