I guess this was the first chance we had for long range views of Finland as mostly we'd been in and among the lakes and trees. It was beautiful though I'd avoid busy weekends!

The important place for Finnish people. Beautiful view of the lake. I recommend taking a good hike on the lakeside.

It’s a fairly easy walk up to the top even in snow. It has nice views over the lake on one side and the valley on the other. It’s worth going up for sunset.

Great routes for hiking. Great houses for rent, easy access to top scenery from the Ukko-Koli hotel. Finnish scenery at its best.
