You will hear a lot about the infamous Soapy Smith while in Skagway, but this is the only telling from his point of view! So much fun enjoying local theatre telling history. Before the evening show they even have a gambling pre show activity. They...More

I'm a big fan of supporting local theatre and this show fit the bill. It might not be a broadway-calibre performance, but it was fun and entertaining and provided a musical history of the area. Be prepared for a giggle - they choose volunteers from...More

Walking the streets just taking it all in when we see a old time bar maid and we'll,the rest is history. Laughing till my cheeks hurt. Well worth the stop!

Don’t expect Broadway standard sets, lighting and effects and you won’t be disappointed. The performers were very good and it was fun to watch. Based on the story of Soapy Smith it’s a history lesson too. If you travel on the White Pass train there...More

This production is probably fun for most people. There were several in the audience enjoying the show. I write theatre reviews, so I see a great many national tours and community theatre musicals and plays. The Days of '98 Show just wasn't as good as...More

It reminded me of Jackson hole Wyoming. A fun little play about the history of the area. The actors were cute and personable. They ran the gift shop and the ticket booth so you got to talk to them before and after the show.

Our family of four loved the play and the mock gambling before the show. It was a fun way to learn about Skagway history and a great break from touring the town!

On this trip I did finally take in this show. $25.00US. As any low budget production you have to gleen something good and that is, the history of Skagway. You need to set your mind into what an early 1800’s production might look like and...More

We pre-purchased this "excursion" when we reserved the cruise. The show was just OK. We agree with other reviewers that the pianist and his poetry reading were the highlights. The rest of the show was campy, filled with bawdy bum humor (some not particularly family-friendly)...More

The show is one hour long, but it was informative and funny. A lot of fun, nice way to end the day. Careful where you sit or you might end up part of the show!

I would say they are fine. Just don't sit in the front row as the actors can be loud. My kids were fine when we saw it years ago and they were about the same age. Buy some of the snacks like the popcorn and they will be... More

yes. It is very lively and fun with singing, dancing, etc. Because the theater is small the kids are closer to the stage which is nice. They will miss the innuendo and subtle humor but that is OK. Also after the show they... More
