Well do not go on the Charter, if you have a weak stomach. His first boat was broken down. So his second boat, you cannot use the toilet for solids. I did not hear him say that, at all.Forty five minutes into the charter, my...More

Captain Joe and his father of Fat salmon charters genuinely seems to want you to do good. They are established and keep in contact with other boats for real time conditions on the Skagway channel .I was there 9/16/16 and although it was the end...More
Most honest place To do business with. Four of us showed up to go on the boat today, and we were told that honestly he could not take our money, due to there not being any salmon from all of the fresh water.
We had a great time! The fish weren't biting and we only caught a couple of fish. But to our pleasant surprise the trip was very fun because Joe was so entertaining. If it hadn't have been for a great Captain we may not have...More

Sorry for delay I have almost no clue how this stuff on trip advisor works. In fact this is the third time typing this response god knows where the others ended up. Cost for fishing is 175. Halibut is an expensive shot in the dark until august and even then haines and skagway are not great halibut fishing spots. We fish salmon only, because nobody wants to hold a pole and take a boat ride so we fish most active the King. Cost for shipping and processing is about 9 a pound, 85% is the FedEx fees, I charge nothing it's just a service we provide getting it to the processor. I hope that answers your questions, again sorry for the delay. If I don't see you in skagway I hope you have an amazing Alaskan vacation.
