The prices were not bad in some of the stores. Shop around and enjoy the scenery in Skagway. You will be surrounded by good people and mountain scenery

This little downtown area has all kinds of art and crafts made in Alaska for home or gifts! A lot of great places to eat and shop! Make sure to visit stores with stone Jewlery and glass blown art! #planforamiracle

Plenty of shops and restaurants to keep you busy as well as shops specializing in local tours (book directly - much cheaper than booking through the cruise lines) All of the locals are super friendly and seem to treat the visitors with warmth and hospitality....More

Book ahead to avoid being disappointed to not get into the historical tours from the parks service. The tours were fun, short (45 min) and there was a free show in their theatre too. The local stops can be visited later too and are well...More
