There is a nice selection of Native Alaskan artifacts and Alaskan art available at the Alaska Art Colony. When we were there a Native Alaskan weaving items from grasses that she had harvested. It is definitely worth a visit.

We stepped inside and were greeted warmly. The folk inside took time to share about the art and the processes used to create some of the artwork. Even learned how to dye intestines. Great visit.
