For one of the best views of Seattle head to Kerry Park, a small park located on the south side of Queen Anne Hill.  A photo from here is Seattle postcard-perfect, featuring ferries crossing Elliott Bay, the city skyline with the Space Needle in the forefront and, if weather conditions are favorable, a view of Mt. Rainier.

Beautiful view. We only stayed for like 10 mins as it was busy but definitely enjoyed the beautiful view of the Space Needle, downtown, and Mt . Ranier.

This park has a wonderful view of Seattle! It was nice to sit, fill up my water bottle, and get a few pictures. If you want a park you can walk around in and spend hours this is not it.

Ran to this park from my hotel by the market. It's not so much a park as a patch of grass, but the views of the city are fantastic. It was a little too cloudy the day I was there, but I'm sure on a...More

Stunning views day or night. Can be crowded but worth the view. Mt. Ranier is often seen. Definitely worth a stop.

Great views of the city and Mt. Rainier behind it. Beautiful neighborhood and a great opportunity to see some really nice homes. Definitely a must-see.

We came here on a crystal clear Saturday afternoon and saw some incredible views of the city and of Mt. Rainier. There were a lot of people here, but it wasn't terribly crowded. Parking is very limited- so it might be challenging to find a...More

If you are visiting Seatle there is one "must see" stop on your itinerary. Kerry Park on the South side of Queen Anne will give you your bearings. Queen Anne is one of Seattle's most varied, livable and sought after neighborhoods. It's pastiche of stately...More

While it does provide a great view, it's very limited and is far away from the downtown (can't see things in detail)

We had a car so this was easy for us to get to and a pleasant drive through the neighborhood. Glad we did it.

I'm reading different opinions re how good the view is. I'm interested in getting the iconic photo with space needle and Mt Rainier. Is this possible or do trees, etc obstruct?

Worth it. Favor the right side of the park and arrive at dusk when the city lights turn on. At night you lose Rainier. During the day, the cranes will distract from your image.

With no car is there public transportation that goes close to here? We plan to mostly be by Space Needle and Pike Place Market so not sure from that area the best way without a car to get here. Thanks for your help!

I think there's a bus stop nearby. I recommend using Google Maps. There's always Uber. I would NOT recommend walking from Lower Queen Anne, because the hill is VERY steep. It's a very small park with some play equipment. The... More
