Love visiting Alki Beach each Seattle trip. It's a great spot we've seen sunsets from and travelled to and from downtown Seattle on the water taxi.

I had no idea this was here, despite multiple visits to Seattle. Visiting a friend here, we were happy to spend the morning wandering the beach and grabbing brunch. Even on a warm summer day, Alki is a peaceful break from the city.

Love walking the beach at Alki on a sunny day, enjoying the views of Seattle across the Sound and eating at the different fish restaurants along the beach. Eating on the outside upper level patio at Duke's away from the noise of the waterfront is...More

We enjoyed a walk along the beach with our friends and their children. There is a nice walking path along this beach and an amazing view of downtown Seattle.

if you're looking for a waterside walking path, then this is it. Depending on how far along you go you can enjoy views of the sound, various islands, ferries crossing the sound and downtown Seattle. Perfect for a sunny day stroll, but to be frank,...More

Alki Beach is one of those Seattle must visit places. Even in the dead of winter. The sunsets can be spectacular. Walks along the water, or a fire in one of the fire-pits, people watching, rollerblading and more. There are also plenty of places to...More

Alki Beach is the closest beach in Seattle. Go for a run along it, play in the sun or enjoy a bonfire.

We took a water taxi and rented bikes at that same spot. The ride to the Alki beach trail was short and safe :)

My boyfriend and I have walked our dogs randomly around midnight. We saw quite a bit of people walking around. But like anywhere I would watch for safety. When it gets warmer I expect there will be even more traffic.
