Not too big of a zoo but not small at all. The ape enclosure is very nice. Clean zoo on level ground so it's not hard to walk around.

The zoo is obviously well-kept and the animals look healthy. Plenty of good viewing areas makes it a great place to take children.

We spent so much time here, so many exhibits to see! I highly recommend eating before or right after. Cafe, depending on hours takes quite awhile and seating may not be possible. We went on a day where all animals were out and active...so fun!

We visited the Zoo during spring break and had an awesome time. Admission is very reasonable. We entered through West entrance which was right next to Penguin exhibit. For $5 a person you could feed penguin (you got 4 fish to give them). That was favorite with the kids. In summer they also have giraffe feeding. You have to check... More

We went here on Spring Break and maybe it is better in the summer, but I was a little let down with how few animals and how run down everything is getting.

My family went to visit the zoo over Easter and though it was busy (due to the Easter egg hunt), it was easy to navigate. The animals are amazing! They have a fantastic range of exotic animals- some of which we had never seen nor heard of before. We will come back for sure.

The zoo is great. There are many options and different weather situations. Unfortunately, some animals were trying to hide themselves haha

I actually really liked this zoo because the exhibits were on the larger size and seemed to be a good home for the animals...rather than having them in smaller, cramped conditions like I've seen at some zoos. The grounds are well kept and there are usually zoo employees at the exhibits to tell you more about the animals.

My first visit ended up being on a very rainy day which was somewhat difficult but still enjoyed my time there. The habitats for all the animals are amazing. So much better than the zoos I have been in the past. Employees were very helpful. Would recommend you bring food and snacks.

We drove down on a rainy Monday morning so we could have a great day with my grandson. We walked around the grounds for almost 5 hours and had wonderful time walking in the rain and seeing the wonderful animals.this picture is the best of ostrich eggs.
