Extremely long lines to get in. It was the first Starbuck's and is now a major tourist attraction. Otherwise, it is a typical Starbuck's with many good coffees and a limited selection of desserts and small sandwiches.

Be prepared for a LONG queue, especially I would imagine in Summer. Apart from it being the 1st Starbucks, the coffee is the same as any other location of the company

As the title says - this was the first Starbucks coffee shop ever, so that's a good excuse to visit it. Other than that it is a normal Starbucks, just more crowded because of it's status and because it's just opposite Pike Place Market with all it's tourists.

This is the very first starbucks ever built. Thelady does not have her mermaid tail and she has breasts. It is iconic. A must see, so many things have changed since this place was opened. Do you ever see a Starbucks with spices? It used to say just that. Coffee, Tea, and spices. The line was so long, I peeked... More

Fun to go and say you've been. Other than that, nothing special....unless you enjoy waiting in super long lines. Then have at it!

We stopped in late in the evening for a cup of coffee. You can see why the first Starbucks location would be popular. Great location beside the public market. Decent coffee.

The line alone will take you FOREVER. Then actually ordering is such a pain since the employees are super distracted. The actual store is so filled that you will barely be able to move. After that, it will take another year to actually get your order. However, even with all of that, it's pretty cool to see where the whole... More

You stand in line for 20, 30, or 40 minutes for coffee? It's a tourist trap. Nothing special. "Nothing to see here" Been there a few times in the last few years. It's getting worse.

Small, simple store right in the heart of Seattle. Even if you are not a fan of the company or the product, it is interesting to see the humble beginnings of such a massive company. It is small and very tourist crowded, however if you are into the mugs, there is one that is only available at this location, not... More
