Super cool place. Got to take some awesome pics. Very artsy and off the cuff. The trolls left hand is actually grabbing a real Volkswagen bug! (Just so you get a perspective of the size)

We walked to the troll from the Gas Works Park. It was about a mile walk in the rain but was easy, until you get to the bridge and had to walk a very steep incline to arrive at the troll. The troll was cool, and the fact you can basically climb all over it or take photos from the top and stroll thru the neighboring park was a worthwhile stop on our exploration of the city

Huge sculpture under the bridge. The troll is holding a Volkswagen in one hand , like he reached up on bridge and grabbed it. Be sure and read the story behind. It was a fun photo op spot. We went to the Fremont brewery after visiting.

Cool artwork in a cool neighborhood attached to a cute nature trail. We had fun. I just love this city. It was a beautiful day. Stayed in WA for seven days and zero rain (FYI)

It is really fun to climb up on the troll and we were able to have others who were there get pictures. People were good about taking time. Remember you can pick the troll's nose if you want a fun picture! And notice the car in the troll's hand. There is parking around, but you'll still need to walk a bit to get there. A fun, short stop if you are in the area.

You’ve gotta see the troll. Just a neat place to visit especially if you have kids. They seemed to genuinely enjoy climbing up on the troll. The area was clean despite being under a bridge (I.e. no garbage).

I visited the Fremont Troll on a warm, sunny day, over Memorial Day weekend. The troll was nice but it was a little crowded in my opinion. There was a long line of people waiting to sit on the troll for a picture, and I didn’t feel like waiting around. I’d love to go on a gloomier day, because it would probably be less crowded, plus it would have better ambience. I parked down the hill on a bustling street and picked up some gelato for the walk. There were lots of quirky stores and cute bookshops on the way too. If I’d had more time it would have been fun to walk around the area!
