Elliott Bay Books provides thought-provoking and unique reading selections for a world that is becoming bookless... I confess I was so upset when Elliott Bay left its downtown location that it took me awhile to come into their new location on Capitol Hill, just one...More

They carry my book "Body of a Dancer," so of course I love them! Seriously, my last visit, they had all the books I needed to teach my new course: Layli Long Soldier's "Whereas" and Lauret Savoy's "Trace." Staff is amazing.

What a beautiful store with a great selection of books and plenty of spots to relax. I liked the local/northwest section right at the front of the store.

Well organized, clean, bright, and helpful staff, what more can one ask for in a book store? A great coffee shop! The Elliott Bay Book Company is a great place to spend and afternoon looking at books and drinking coffee at The Little Oddfellows cafe.

Fantastic independent book store. They are centrally located on Capitol Hill and easy to find. The selection of books is great...and yes you might pay a little more than online shopping but it's worth it.
