Great spot for a game

Stop in and catch a mariners game during the summer. There isn't a better spot to spend the afternoon watching baseball.

We happened to be in Seattle with a free night when the Texas Rangers were in town. So grabbed some tickets online and went to the game. From the moment we got off the light rail, it was a fabulous time! It was a good bit of walking, so be prepared. But it was worth it. The staff at Safeco... More

I didn't have a chance to go to a game while in Seattle but I took the tour of Safeco field. The best part of the tour was going in the dugout and on the field. A lot of time was spent in the suites which didn't interest me, but still glad I took the tour.

This is one of the top parks in the country. Very good sight lines, you feel part of the game. Food is good, beer prices are high. Hit here café before the game is very nice. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Spend sometime at Pike Place market then take in a game !

Been here several times. Watching the game is always fun, food is good (albeit overpriced) and being with friends and family is always a good time. Highly recommend hitting up Pyramid Brewing across the street before the game. Only thing i can complain about is the parking. Hard to find and often expensive.

Because the ballpark is built in an earthquake/liquefaction zone, the field is actually at street level, so what in other ballparks is the best seating---the lower bowl from first base to third base---is actually not very good, because there's not a lot of height differential between seats. If someone who's taller than 5' 10" sits in front of you, you... More

Every year, our family enjoys getting tickets to see the Seattle Mariners play at Safeco Field. Often, we are given tickets from a local charitable organization that provides event tickets to foster children. Other times, we purchase a few tickets and a select few attend the ballgame. Either way, it is an enjoyable time for everyone. We drive close to... More

We bought some very cheap tickets on the street in front of the stadium. You'll find a lot of different food in the stadium, mostly fast food for average prices. The stadium itself is a very interesting construction. They are able to open and close the roof which is very practical. We had terrible seats but that didn't really matter,... More

What sets Safeco Field apart? Seattle seafood, higher than average ticket prices, a fun neighborhood (instead of tailgating) nearby. A great ballpark experience.
