I would not recommend the Moore Theatre. My recent outing to see Nikki Glaser at the Moore Theatre started off with ushers belittling me as soon as I walked through the door. I asked a simple question of where my seats were located in the front row since there was no numbering on the wooden chairs. And I was told by an older gentleman, that I should turn around and look at the row of seats behind me to see how the numbering works. Then less than two minutes later, was told by that same usher that no recording is supposed to happen during the show. It’s not like I had my phone out but he had to inform me and no one else in the row about that policy. Then I was greeted for the third time by another usher to tell me and my fiancé to keep our masks on in between sips of drinks. Thanks for treating everyone as equals Moore Theatre, especially the loud and obnoxious couple next to me who didn’t have their mask on for most of the performance. I’m sure none of this had to do with me being a black woman!

I cannot believe all of the good reviews for this theater! If you are unfortunate enough to be seating in the 2nd balcony you've just thrown your money away! The seats are too small, it's extremely hot and the worst thing of all you cannot hear!! There is a great rack of speakers that points directly at the first balcony. I cannot confirm it, but if you were sitting in that section, or on the first level, you can probably hear pretty well. The 2nd balcony however, forget it! Went to see Bill Burr. Was really excited to see his show. Love his act. Could not hear over half of what he said. The owner's of this place must know this is an major issue. They need to get off their butts and spend the money to put in additional speakers directed at the 2nd balcony! That section seats a lot of people! And there is just no other way to say it, anyone sitting there is being cheated from having a good time because of an inadequate sound system. There is no way that I'm the first customer to complain about this issue. Just about everyone seated around me was complaining. And of course all of that talking made it even harder to hear Bill!! I was cheated out of what should have been a great experience with one of today's most popular comedians.

Went to see Amy Schumer bought seats in balcony she was great and killed it but…

The Moore theatre while beautiful needs some updates for one balcony seats on a hot day = no fun there is no air conditioning get some HVAC!

Two there should be a screen up in the balcony so that people can see the show up close. From the balcony seats performers are really too far away. Not only hard to see but sometimes hard to hear. Put in a monitor

Three the seats are incredibly uncomfortable. Update seats!

I will never again purchase balcony seats at the Moore theatre imo not worth it! Modernize Moore!

Went to see bill burr, when we go in we had to put our phone in a pouch. Then go up a ramp and wait in line. It was really warm up there. Then go back down the ramp, only to have to walk up a million stairs with my bad foot. Once we got up to the balcony you just took whatever seats you could find. If you wanted a drink you had to back down the stairs, so no drink for me 😫 I will not be coming back!

Lovely historic theater was the perfect setting for an evening event. The seats were comfortable, but if you have long legs an aisle or front row might work best.
The theater offers tours and next time we will definitely add this to our must do list. How cool is it that a theater that once was home to the Seattle Symphony also has seen performers such as MegaDeath?

A beautiful old theater. I saw Amy Schumer. Unfortunately, it was General Admission (by tier). If you don't get there early you'll be sorry. I mistakenly thought the numbers on my tickets were seat numbers. Whoops! My sister who is afraid of heights had a hard time concentrating on the comedy. The top balcony reminded us of being in the top rows of a football stadium. Forget getting a drink. The line was too long and too far away. It probably depends on the event, but for what we could see and had to endure, the top balcony tickets were definitely overpriced for comedy. We couldn't see their facial expressions and therefore couldn't appreciate the comedians full performance.

I've been to this place twice in the last month. What a great venue! I didn't realize there was even a bar in the basement!

Love this place!

Our first time in this venue. The theater needs quite a bit of upkeep. Starting with seats that are much too close together, there is next to no leg room. When purchasing tickets, we are not allowed to choose our own seats, just the section to sit in, the theater picks them for you. STOMP was a great show, but it really enjoy it, wait for it to be at another venue.
