We enjoyed this walk on the west side of Seattle. The park is nothing spectacular — there are several amenities for locals including sports parks and the like. The beach was pretty and piled with driftwood which I enjoy seeing and wandering through.

Beautiful nature park! You can choose a simple walk right along the sea wall or a little more arduous trek up the hill through the beautiful trees. Such a refreshing retreat right next to the busy city. We were also able to enjoy watching some harbor seals swim along the edge of the water.

Grew up 1 blocks from this magical place. It was like my own private backyard. We spent hours in this Park It is still one of my favorite places on earth.

This park seems to be a touch hidden, but if you're looking for a good walking area to get lost in, it's worth the extra search. The trails are pretty, fun, and well-maintained.

Gorgeous park! Checks off all our boxes...scenery, safe walking, waterfront, play areas, clean and accessible, picnic tables, trees and some “off-road” walking.

Huge green park with access to the water (not sure if dogs can swim in there but they were wet)! The views are breathtaking and if you are lucky (really lucky) you can see orkas or seals or sea lions pop up out of the water. Parking was free and easy and perfect for a nice day to be outside with friends or family.

This is a lovely park that provides activities for everyone. There are trails, playgrounds, sports fields, and picnic areas. Once one leaves the car park, there is no evidence that the park is in the heart of West Seattle. The bluff trail traverses the park in a forest setting with sound views. It connects at various points to paths that lead to the beach, where a walk can continue along the sound back to the car park. There are great views of the sound, islands, and ferry traffic.

This park has a beach, trails, a playground and a pool. You can walk through trees and hear ravens. Easy to get to even on public transportation. The ferry is directly south and a few blocks north of the park, there are restaurants and a great pub.

Lincoln Park is second only to Discovery Park in my view as a gem of the park system. This park has everything including: secluded trails among giant fir, hemlock and cedar trees, beachwalks, picnicking areas with grills and even a great outdoor swimming facility in season.
This is truly a paradise in the city that will help you forget your day to day struggles for an hour or two.....or more!

Does anyone know if there are restrictions or time limits on parking? I’m planning to do an all day bike trip from here.

How is the parking?

If you go on a sunny weekend in the summer it can be tough. You may end up parking in the neighborhood and walking a couple of blocks (just don't park in front of MY driveway! LOL) On a weekday during the summer or spring, you usually should have parking. Winter tons of parking.
Enjoy this treasure from my childhood!
