Walking along the Seattle Waterfront is a perfect way to soak up some Northwest atmosphere. Take in views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains while exploring Olympic Sculpture Park, the Seattle Aquarium, shops, and restaurants like Ivar’s, a local landmark, where you can watch the ferries load and depart while you eat.

In 2008 I went on a sailboat for the first time and was hooked on the water. Well worth the time and money

We walked a lot of the waterfront. There are lots of shops on the different piers. The restaurants were not as busy as up at the Market. Lots of people on the street, but it is a fun atmosphere.

I have visited there many times. I enjoy dining there, and visiting the many shops. Pike Place Market is not too far of a walk from there.

Seattle feels like it’s surrounded by water which makes for incredible views of the city and waterways including the cute house boats we were able to view from gasworks park. Amazing!
