Walking along the Seattle Waterfront is a perfect way to soak up some Northwest atmosphere. Take in views of the Puget Sound and Olympic Mountains while exploring Olympic Sculpture Park, the Seattle Aquarium, shops, and restaurants like Ivar’s, a local landmark, where you can watch the ferries load and depart while you eat.

Went there as part of a tour. There for the fourth of July so lots of very nice, friendly people. Houseboats are fun to see and vary greatly.

While waiting for a cruise, visit souvenir shops, food stands and restaurants. You can purchase tickets for the cruises there if you haven't gotten them beforehand.

Food purchase and eating opportunities abound. The many attraction like the great wheel are all here, too. Parking is abundant, but tricky to keep track of parking place on one side of road or other. Food is great.

Yes, you can get close to the water and there are things to do, but this is not the best city waterfront by any means.
