The 188 stairs makes for a great workout site and a shout out to the park district. They just completed maintenance on the walkway by replacing a number of wooden stairs and cleaning up all the loose dirt and rocks that were spilling out onto the steps.

We picked up some to go food and came down to the beach for dinner. They have pavilions with tables to eat at as well as bathrooms. Then we walked down to the beach where you can make a fire in the fire pit. Swim in the water. It is very cold. Or simply take a stroll down the beach... More

Before getting down to the beach you can have a great workout. Starting at the top of the park’s entrance leading down to the main parking lot is a 188 wood stairway in eleven sections. In between the flights, there are fixed workout stations. There’s always ample parking and the stairs have never been too crowded to detract from the... More

We stopped by here on a Sunday and there were tons of families there with their children looking in the tide pools. The parking was a bit full but there are multiple parking lots if you want to park higher and walk further down. The whole park it on a hill and no matter where you park, you'll need to... More

This beach park is beautiful any time of year. The top parking lot is ideal for viewing magnificent sunsets with the Olympic mountains in the background beyond the Sound. The beach has a lot of driftwood, rocky areas, and a few softer sand areas. We normally just go for a walk along it, but if you want to sit and... More

Saltwater Park has something for everyone including a great beach, great play structure for the kids, one of the nicest picnic areas in the area, fire pits, grills a shelter and bathrooms. Add to that lots and lots of views of the Olympic Mountains, Puget Sound and the best sunset views around and this is a must visit. There has... More

This park has a lovely beach, lovely playground by parking lot, lovely hill side picnic sight with small walking path. Awesome stairs you can run (if you're into that fitness stuff). Many great choices one location (with public bathrooms too)

We were hoping to see all the sights along the beach but it was closed for maintenance. It looks like a lovely area from the parking lot with kids stuff, washrooms, and pathways. The view from the top parking lot is spectacular. It is good that there is upkeep happening....a necessity for the upcoming season.

Visiting family in Shoreline, on the north side of Seattle, and we went as a group to Richmond Beach Park. What a nice place to spend an afternoon! Great views of the Olympic Mountains, nice trail for walking. A beautiful park set aside in a potentially busy part of town. Walking distance to the library in Shoreline, and also from... More
