I am a big fan of Route 66 so I was thrilled to find Oxbow Park with the larger than life cowboy hat and boots. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

This is definitely worth a stop for some fun photos. Tip - unless you want to be dwarfed, come close to the photographer, and have both large sculptures in the background.
This park is very close to another great spot, The Vac Shop (creatures fashioned from old vacuum cleaners). You're sure to get some good laughs at both locations.

We passed by this park quickly while we were in the area. It is a small park with an impressive display. There is nothing much to the park itself but the Hat n' Boots display is great for a photo op!

This is one of my favorite land marks that has been saved by the parks department and Georgetown residents ,the hat and boots truck stop sat on the corner of Corson St & West Marginal Way and was a great success for many years. The hat was the gas station office & the boots were the restrooms. They have now been moved about 3 blocks down Corson Street and are on display in the park. This is a great Seattle land mark and well worth preserving .

Yeah, I am into quirky things like you find on RoadsideAmerica. During our vacation in Seattle this came up as a "must do"
The area/park is very run down. It is evident that not a lot of money is poured into maintianing this park.
It is in an industrial area on the southside of Seattle.
Yes, the hat and boots are big and make for great pics so do it as part of a days adventures

Interesting park, but it's small, and other than the Hat & Boots, not much to see. Unfortunate that there is no interpretation as to why or where the they came from. It's a quick visit, and worth the stop just for some unique selfies if nothing else.

Visited in April 2022. Stopped at this place. Very neat and clean. Wish the community could bring back the original gas station concept into live... Awesome concept.

This park gets a 4 for the novelty (3 for anything else). It's a fun little installation, but it's getting old and the age is showing. But if you're nearby, it's still a nice little stop.

Had to stop by here as I love 'worlds largest' photos, so could pass the worlds largest cowboy hat n boots! Typical photo stop but didn't feel like it was an area that I would like to spend too much time in (and will leave it at that)

The former gas station was saved from despair and lovingly restored and moved to this lovely neighborhood park. It should be on the must-see list of every lover of roadside Americana architecture.
