We really enjoy having walks on the public lands , the weather was perfect! Only a little snow but that was it

See the 30 min movie about the bears and Katmai! Amazinga Fun staff and a nice center with interesting displays and great information about Alaskan parklands. Worth the very minor hassle of the metal detector to enter a federal building.

This NPS supported museum has great displays and a different film about Alaska every 1/2 hour. Great place to relax if it is raining.
