Walked the paths with three small children. The children enjoyed the walk. The signs were easy to read and gave a lot of information. Saw several game trails however did not see any moose. We. We’re on foot and with a wagon, but many cyclists were on the paths. You can see Sleeping Lady Mountain.

I went on a trolley tour and this was one of our stops. It was very interesting and sad listening to the history of this location. I was able to stand on 2 different tectonic plates and also walk down and explore the area where the devastation occurred.

Big time earthquake here on 1964 one of the biggest ever and split this town in half. This area push the ground up and made rolling hills and valley. Near the area where the tsunami came and swallowed 77 homes. Interesting place of history

What's so cool about Earthquake Park is you get to stand where history happened! Learning about the 1964 Alaska earthquake is super interesting; then looking out over where the bluffs had collapsed is incredible. The views from the bluffs at Erathquake Park are inspiring!

A nice companion to visiting Earthquake Park is getting on the (paved) Tony Knowles Coast Trail, either toward the airport area to watch the planes take off & land or in the other direction (~3.5 miles) towards downtown Anchorage.

Note: Earthquake Park is in the woods and has wetlands all around so put on the mosquito repellent before going! Earthquake Park is worth seeing!

It was a clear day and we were able to see Denali from the overlook. We also enjoyed reading about the 1964 earthquake. The park is very close to downtown and the airport.

Anchorage is one of the few cities in the world blessed with an oceanfront with snowcapped mountain backdrops.

The park's information boards did a great job explaining the event that changed Anchorage, the Good Friday earthquake. North America's strongest earthquake ever recorded.

We had some time to kill before flight home and this was a nice park with easy trails for walking, running or biking. Very informative about the terrible earthquake.
