Interesting to see the sea planes parked and how they're stored. Little storage sheds at most of the "stalls". I drove around the lake. Need to be careful, it's an active airport, but not a lot of activity going on.

What a hoot watching a pickup tow a float plane around like you would see being fine with a boat most other places.
We sat on the patio of The Lakefront hotel and watched the float planes landing and taking off and there were many of them. Apparently more people own a small plane in Alaska than anywhere else and I can believe it. Its fascinating watching them...More
