Le lieu est très beau, bénéficie d’un beau panorama, mais semble laissé à l’abandon, aucune explication aucun panneau qui retrace l’histoire du site, une signalétique nulle alors que le site mériterai le détour.

restano solo rovine

Cadenet è un piccolo villaggio provenzale sovrastato dalle rovine di un castello medievale. Il castello era dell’undicesimo secolo ma dopo varie distruzioni ne restano solo rovine. Però è una bella passeggiata e la vista merita.

Le château, plutôt les vestiges surplombe le village de Cadenet et vous offre
un très beau Panorama.
Datant du XI° il a subi de grosses dégradations sous le règne de Louis XIV
et fut brûlé sous la révolution .

Solo rovine

Il castello si trova in alto, rispetto al paese.
Non aspettatevi però granchè, solo poche rovine, l'ingresso è libero.
A Cadenet c'è anche una chiesa col campanile provenzale e la statua del tamburino di Arcole che, col suo coraggio, contribu+ a far vincere la battaglia del ponte di Arcole (Verona) a Napoleone, che volle incontrarlo e decorarlo.

Comment dire, comment qualifier de château le reste d'un mur avec un grillage fermant le reste d'un reste d'une enceinte...il n'y a strictement rien à voir. Passez votre chemin .
Le lieu veut surtout pour un parcours de santé dont on se moque franchement quant on est sensé voir un monument.

Nous avons visité les ruines de ce château qui devait être immense et avons découvert en contrebas la partie troglodyte, c est intéressant et gratuit.

Quite a steep walk with 2 small children. Especially nice for the view over Cadenet. There is not much to see of the castle itself anymore.

Découverte du site et parcours sportif

Toutes les habitations troglodytes sont pourries par la bêtise humaine. Déchets plastiques, verres et autres... Le parcours sportif n'est pas du tout entretenu même dangereux pour les enfants. Manque barreaux, lames en pin cassées. Bref, déçu mais le site, en reste néanmoins, très agréable et divertissant.
