A most see if you are in Nevada and went to see the Hoover Dam. Here is the history of how it was build and the many hours and many man who worked and unfortunately died in the construction of this marvelous dam.

The museum is not very big, but very interesting. We saw the film of how the dam was build and that was very useful.

What a great little town nearby a great attraction. Have a look around this place and you will see quirky stores and a quaint town to stop in.

One of the staff at the Nevada Visitors Center recommended this museum, and we're very glad she did. It was very informative and well laid out, and only $2 admission. Exhibits cover the reasons for the dam, how construction came to be authorized, steps involved...More

The hotel is very historical, you can tell they did their job to keep it immaculate, it is clean, they give you lots of information and at night the streets are very quiet and calm you can walk and feel the safe around, recommended.

This is a hiddne gem. Museum on secton floor of the old hotel. It is packed full of info on the building/creating of Hoover Dam. Wish you could get tour of hotel iself and see a room, would be nicer. Building on national historic registry....More
