We went to Bootleg Canyon Mountain Bike Trail. There are desert vista views. It is a very good bike trail in Boulder City Area.

I'm a flatlander from florida..this trail kicked my butt but I loved every minute of it. Incredibly scenic mountain trails. Wide visibility but rocky narrow trails. Not for those with fear of heights. Many cliff trails. I stayed on green trails that, although they are considered the easiest, are only the easiest on this mountain, not inherently easy. I'm intermediate/advanced... More

Although this is a mountain bike trail, we found a fabulous little walking trail on a paved route suitable for young and old alike. Along the path were large constructions of the different birds/animals that can be found in the region. Each had a small information notice, telling you about it. Really educational particularly for young children and a very... More

After a day of strolling through this historic town, responsible for building the Hoover Dam, take a picnic lunch to the Bootle Canyon park ( we don't mountain bike, but this course is well prepared). The peace and tranquility of this setting is palpable as you stroll the paved paths. Since we last visited, background information regarding desert inhabitants has... More

This is a great place to hike. I have done the Blood, Sweat, and Beers trail run out here the last 2 years and loved it. Tough course for a mountain bike but a good hike for families. Make sure you have water the trails do get tough and you will need it.

Much of the trail is flat. All of it is smooth. Parts of it have the steepest hills I've ever seen. The good news is, the steep hills are short.

These trails are technical! Their beginner line doesn't really exist. I have been riding for almost 5 months. Boy scout/girl scout is the easiest line there and some parts I simply had to walk. That was a bit of a let down, but not the mountain's fault. I just didn't know that the green trails weren't my view of GREEN!... More

Road and mountain biking in the area, nicely marked trails. Would recommend for a day or 1/2 day adventure. Need to be close to an expert to ride the mountain bike trails so no novices for the mountain biking.

We did the ziplines over the mountain bike trail, however we saw the people below doing it.......it looked awesome and i would certainly love to do it next time i am in town. It just looked very hot to be doing during the day. Some of the drops down rock faces did look extreeme but other trails would suit families.
