Great stop for a nice recap of the Lewis and Clark expedition. Great film, staff is super friendly and helpful. The walk thru exhibit outside is educational. Being on the river and by the bridge, makes it a nice outdoor activity too.

Most of the building is Parks administrative offices. The film gives an excellent summary of Lewis & Clark's accomplishments. Keep your car in the free carpark while you walk the nearby footbridge over the river.

There has been a 'vision' for this area for YEARS; however, it doesn't seem to take off. So, unless you want to walk the river-front on the trails, or go to the National Park Trails Information Center HQ, there's not much there. Used to be...More

Unfortunately, it was pouring down rain when my wife and I visited this park. Being a National Park site, we were greeted by a Park Ranger, who immediately told us (somewhat apologetically) that the only activities available to us were the few artifacts we could...More

Right on the water, part of the amazing journey of Lewis and Clark. The Ken Burns film which is about 20 minutes, summarizes the story quite nicely.

If you are expecting detailed information about various aspects of the expedition you will be disappointed. A 30 minute film about the expedition is all you get, with the rest of the very minimal exhibits kind of thrown together like a science fair. Located next...More
