We loved strolling around the gardens, however, we didn't know the Botantical Building didn't open up until noon so we were disappointed. They were also setting up for a wedding out in the garden which is a perfect place for such a venue.

Very nice place to go with family. Enjoyed our trip looking at amazing flowers and displays. Spend the whole day and enjoyed it the best. Will do it again as leaves a calming feeling looking at colorful flowers and displays.

This Botanical garden had some very interesting species growing. We went on a lovely summer day, and spent a nice afternoon strolling around the place. It was quite enjoyable.

The classes offered are fantastic. I took the annual wreath making class, where you make a large and beautiful wreath with cuttings from the park. This is a beautiful spot in Springfield.

Nice park to visit if you have an hour to spend. Nothing special though. Being free is a big plus. Large grounds but small areas of plantings. I would call this more of a park with gardens and not a botanical garden. Small greenhouse. Very...More

Beautiful landscaping, walking trails, plenty of areas for the dogs to walk, benches and shaded areas for sitting, flowers and clean bathrooms. Amazing houses to look at while you are walking.

This is a very nice park in Springfield. Plenty of picnic spots, play ground, tennis and ponds with ducks & geese. the only draw back is it is like they don't want cars in the park. The one way streets all take you out of...More

I really don't know the answer to that question. Perhaps going to the Abraham Lincoln Museum and Library site you could send them an email to ask. Sorry I couldn't help you.
