I went into the Museum and found it most interesting especially the shows. Especially fond of the story of Lincoln's life from childhood. The entire thing is very well done and realistic. Great history lesson.

A must for the Lincoln curious. The museum tells the story of Pres Lincoln's life from youth thru his presidency. Visually informative and a helpful staff is on hand to guide the visitor and answer any questions.

They do a great job of not only showing the history during Lincoln's time, but also the period attire and lifestyles of the people. There are many artifacts of the period as well.

Lots of amazing things to do and see. Activities for the children too. Very nice gift shop. I particularly loved the first lady's dress exhibit. Exhibits do change from time to time.

There is so much to see and learn at the ALPLM! We have been several times and I still learn something new. Give yourself several hours to really see it all.

This is a must see in Springfield. The history comes to life with videos. There are many artifacts and the civil war section is very good. We saw the exhibit on the Cardinal Cub rivalry which is very well done.
