Don't miss this free tour of the Governor's mansion. The docent-lead tour is so informative. You are permitted to take all the photos you want of the outside. None inside. There is so much history to experience. Allow an hour. You won't regret this tour!

We took a tour of the mansion and found it fun and entertaining. The tour guide was friendly and helpful. We went on a tour with a school group and everyone appeared to enjoy the experience.

What a hideous shame that the corrupt government of Illinois allows the filthy rich Governor to live in Chicago while our tax dollars go into a run down shell of this beautiful mansion!!!!!!

It is a good idea to call there before you go on a trip to visit it and determine what days the tour is on. But I would still call the day that you are there to make sure that they are still doing tours on that particular... More
