Decided to go on this tour with another family member. My husband and I were so glad we did, excellent tour. Very informative tour guide. Donations were asked for instead of actual ticket price. A very different FLW home.

The timeless beauty of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture is on display in this 12,000 sq. ft. home. The tour begins with an 8-minute video about the owner of the home, followed by an interesting tour of the home (wish we could have heard our guide...More

Great tour at the Dana Thomas house. The staff was friendly & welcoming, and they could answer every question asked of them today. Made the tour enjoyable & interesting.

You'll appreciate this home more if you know the history of Wright. I went on this tour at the last minute to fill time. Glad that I did. Our tour director had a loud voice which I really appreciated. She gave us a lot of...More

We have visited several Frank Lloyd Wrights homes. We found the layout for this house very interesting. The lightling in the house could have been a little bit better. It was a overcast day and not a lot of lighting inside the house, particularly in...More

Our first Frank Lloyd Wright visit won’t be the last. This was a most interesting tour and a must-do if you are in Springfield. It’s hard to imagine the details and beauty of a FLW prairie house until you actually see it. We had Rachel...More

Nothing to see if happen to show up between tour times. You cannot self-tour. When we were there, there were 4 employees standing around talking in the gift shop, yet no one could help us with a tour. Disappointing.

The site is open year round Weds.-Sun. and seasonally Mon. & Tues. The website doesn't say when the seasonal ends. The best thing to do is call 1 217 782-6776. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
