This is a fantastic way to spend a day, swimming around the thermal waters or swimming up to the bar for a very civilised beer There's a chill out area that really should be tried, the sauna and steam room seem a little redundant but...More

My husband and I stopped for two nights in Iceland to rest and recharge before a trip to Scotland. We had two goals- see the Northern Lights and float in the lagoon. Lucky us - we did both! I know everyone is talking about how...More

It was great that there was -5 Degree outside and we were "swimming" +38 Degree in the Lagoon. If you can come in November, book the ticket at least 4 days advanced to get it and you can go to the lagoon before 5 pm....More

We went over Thanksgiving, so it wasn't too crowded in Iceland. It was brutally cold with the wind, but the Lagoon water was lovely, and we stayed warm. Yes, it's touristy, but it's also fun and worth doing. We paid about $50/person. Our teenagers loved...More

A superb place to visit. Ideal for half a day. Great restaurant on site (Lava) and spotlessly clean and well organised. A must see/do place on a trip to Iceland.

We had a mixed experience here. We went at night which I think was a mistake - its probably best to see it in the daylight as it wasn't very well lit - the water could have been pink, black or green for all we...More

This seems to be a must do in Iceland so after research I booked well in advance with my tour company who use Gray Line - we were collected at 8:15 but due to the transfer time we didn't arrive until 9:55 which was perfect...More

We loved our trip to the Blue Lagoon. It is always packed full of tourists but is nevertheless very relaxing. Lovely warm water with soothing white mud. Skin feels great afterwards. Love the way you walk from the changing rooms along a water tunnel and...More

It is very likely that Saturdays is more busy. However, since they limit the amount of tickets, it never feels overcrowded because the lagoon is very spacious. I recommend to use the early morning hours starting at 7am. We... More

I'm sure you can shower with your bathing suit on. In Iceland it is however frowned upon by locals, but now locals visiting the lagoon are only a small percentage of the visitors. It has to do with what we feel is a... More

Yes there are hair dryers in the locker rooms. You will likely have to wait for one to be available due to crowds and high volume. There is luggage storage space available at the entrance to the blue lagoon for a cost. You... More
