My best friend and I went to Iceland for a girls trip. I had been there before, she had not. While I had been to the Blue Lagoon before, I just booked the basic package the first time around. This time, I booked the Luxury package. It is 100% worth it! You get your own changing room/shower, you have a... More

Getting to the Blue Lagoon "early" is a definite plus for this wonderfully relaxing day. We chose the Premium Package which included a Bathrobe, Slippers, and Complimentary Drink. Definitely worth the trip, very peaceful and restorative!

This is a pricey, but lovely treat. We spent 3 hrs here after arriving on an early morning flight en route to Reykjavik. The lagoon is large, with different temperatures in different places. We enjoyed applying the 2 different face masks & floating on the noodles. The swim up bar was a nice addition with a good selection of drinks.... More

Yes, it's expensive. Yes, there are other cheaper "warm spring" options in Iceland. However, this really is a MUST do experience if you visit the island. We booked the mid range package, with towels, free face scrub and a drink voucher. It's just a lovely thing to do with the family. To spend a couple of hours in such warm... More

I cannot stress enough. DO NOT GO HERE. IT IS NOT WHAT IT IS CRACKED UP TO BE. The women's change room was absolutely disgusting. Used band-aids laying on the floor, clumps of hair everywhere. It was horrible. And it is essentially one massive pool, that isn't even that warm, with a bunch of rowdy drunk people in it. The... More

Soothing...you don't even have to get out of the water if you want beer, wine, a smoothie, or a slushy :-). The complimentary mud mask did not make anyone in our family's faces smoother or softer (as advertised). The construction that is presently going on was not disruptive in any way. Staff was friendly and attentive. There are private showers.... More

Definitely a nice experience to spend some times at Blue Lagoon. The high light of our visit is the massage session over the water at Blue Lagoon. The reservation needs to be made way in advance. By the way, if you plan to stay at Silica Hotel, then don't spend money in buying tickets at Blue Lagoon. The hotel will... More

We spent 10 days trekking Iceland in various weather, but somewhat rainy the last few days of our trip. Spending 3 hours at the Blue Lagoon in 100 degree water was heaven. Beyond the gigantic hot pool, there were saunas and steam rooms, not to mention a swim up bar. For those concerned about European type conditions (aka nudity), we... More

Since is a must see in Iceland we booked a stay at the Lagoon. It is an industry: long entrance line, small & open changing rooms, doubtable clean on the hallways, the bracelet-based cabin system (finally a good working one), the get in and get out... just a rush. No place to sit in the pool, too crowded to relax.... More

Very organised, slightly confusing (or different) system of changing into swim wear, and showering before you enter the lagoon. Was very warm with hotter spots in places, not too crowded whn we went even though we were on a coach tour from a cruise ship, and there were many other coaches there. Enjoyed trying the face masks from around the... More
