The short hike to the pool was nice, but the pool itself was green and slimey. Many of the adults in our group would not even get in. I would give this a B- rating.

I did not go in the pool, but the walk at the base of Eyjafjallajokull was really beautiful. I was there in August so the landscape was a vibrant green and so lovely. Hike past the pool a little bit and there a couple small...More

A long 15 minute hike to get here and the swimming pool itself is kinda green and warm and filled with tourists. There are 2 disgusting changing rooms which most people seem to avoid. We avoided all of it and instead decided to hike up...More

The pool itself is not too nice. Its green and we did not find it very nice. The changing facilities... Nasty! Change before or do it outside at the spot :-) We are normally not that sissy, but this one was just over the top...More

My family and me went to Seljavallalaug to take a bath. The only thing that was positive about this bathing place was the view. It was beautiful to see the mountains and the river. The changing rooms were discussing! We changed in the woods instead...More

The best part is the path to reach it. The view is amazing. It's a very simple hike at the bottom of a valley on the river bed . The pool is nice even if the concrete structure make it less "natural". Our kids loved...More

I find historical places like this fascinating and the hillside setting is quite nice, so it is a shame I have to give this a poor review. I am not a germophobe or easily skeeved, but the condition of this pool and the water is...More

This was my fifth time visiting and I enjoy it every single time. The walk from the parking lot takes about 15 min and there are changing room by the pool. I would recommend bringing dry clothes and a towel

Be warned: this should be called a "lukewarm pot" instead of a hot pot. After a fairly long, wet trek to get here, I saw many people blanch when they realized just how cold the water was. What's more, the floor is totally covered in...More

I don't know where the campsite is, but the parking area to the hotspring is about 20-25 minute walk.
