You can count on excellent music nightly in one or more of the bars in Kilcar although things do tend to get going rather late, think 9.30-10 pm. The daily music classes (fiddle, accordion etc) were both very good and extremely inexpensive.
Best thing about are the music classes. Great value for the Tutors are brilliant. For example Patricia Flynn for Sean Nous singing (traditional style) and Aidan O'Donnell from the Group Fidil for advanced fiddel! Paradise for Irish trad. Music!
