If you are looking for unusual, hard-to-find culinary items, Formaggio Kitchen is the place. Specializing in gourmet cheeses both domestic and international, this small shop is crammed full of jams, breads, candies, spices, all of it top quality, very little available at chains like Williams Sonoma. Their wine selection is carefully chosen to represent the best varietals, and their onsite... More

This market is an absolute must when I go up to Boston. The selection of cheese is so fantastic, complimented by a staff that really knows about their products. I know that I can walk in and say ... "Hi I am looking for a raw sheep or goat cheese that's hard, smooth, and full flavored" out come the samples... More

Cheese, baked goods, some fresh produce and beverages. The store itself is pretty cute and a nice little hipster sort of place to buy some groceries.

I return here time and again when I am in Cambridge. The knowledge of the staff and quality of the products justify the prices any day of the week

Every inch of this small shop is packed with something delicious. Often when a place does many things they get some of it wrong, but not here. As the name implies, cheese is the root here, and they have varieties from around the globe. The staff will help you, and there is a good charcuterie array, too. And there is... More

I love, love, love Formaggio with its knowledgeable staff and amazing variety of artisan cheeses. There's always some kind of sampling event taking place. The only bad thing I can say is watch out for some of the weekend customers; they seem to feel entitled, and they'll try to snatch you're place in line when you're not looking.
