A day in the snow

Excellent assistance at MIT grad housing. Tasha is awesome. Student Center easy to navigate and of course there is a Dunkin donuts.

Make sure to follow the tours, because some of the buildings may look uninteresting or weird, but there is some interesting, sometimes even funny, stories behind them. This is one of the most important places in America, and you can just walk in and explore its campus, and maybe even classrooms, because there are some classes you can attend for... More

I and my wife loved the visit to the MIT. We visited many places in the campus. The buildings are very imposing, modern and you really breathe knowledge. Moreover, its gardens are very spectacular. The dome building is the nicest one. We had visited some labs. Very nice!

As alumni we love going back, but I can't imagine what tourists would do. Enjoy the lawn in front of the dome, look for a free talk, or maybe visit the MIT museum. Many buildings are locked to non-MIT people.

This is a modern campus with angular buildings, some of which have reflective surfaces - very different to Harvard. You are also unable to enter any of the buildings, except the main reception building. It's a cool campus to stroll around and marvel at the modern architecture. The MIT coop is a great store, that sells not only MIT memorabilia,... More

Other than the domed building, iconic, there is nothing especially magnetic about the MIT campus. It is tough to find parking here. The buildings are numbered and the numbering system eludes easy understanding; walk in one and ask for directions and you may well find the person you ask non-plussed.

Couldnt roam the entire campus because of time constraint but even from outside it is worth visiting.

Walking across from the original MIT building on the campus past some of the buildings and the sports facilities provided a pretty venue. On this particular sunny day in February where temperatures soared into the 60s many were sitting and enjoying the outdoors. In addition to the joggers, cyclists, and skateboarders, parents pushing prams and walkers used the pathway. The... More
