I'd visit just to see the architecture! This library is filled with natural light, and has 30 foot walls of glass on the first floor. It was extensively renovated back in 2009, and doesn't feel at all like it's actually over 100 years old. Even...More

A real meeting place in Cambridge. The beautiful lawns were alive with sun bathers, Frisbee throwers, soccer player, children learning to ride bike and play baseball.

Worth a visit just to see the architecture. A wonderful design for a modern, vital and active public library. One of the best in the U.S.

We stayed warm during the wintry NE months by sitting in the library. Nice! To distinguish yourself from the homeless, pick up a book or magazine and look busy.

This is a very spacious library, even allowing for snacks and drinks on the first floor. Service was great every time we asked for help.

A beautiful public library with an outdoor playground and lots of green space outside. When the weather is nice, it's wonderful to get coffee from Darwins Ltd (a coffee shop that's about a five minute walk from the library) and relax on the grass with...More

There are so many wonderful things to say about the Cambridge Public Library, it's hard to know where to begin! I love the 3rd floor children's area, they now have a laptop checkout station, and there is so much light in many different sections of...More

Loved visiting Cambridge Public Library during our month in Cambridge. The kids floor is very impressive with lots of great books, activities, and atmosphere. We highly enjoyed the pre-school story time!
