The Lowell National Park Service brings you back to the days of the mills and canals workers through museums, waterways, and the streets of Lowell. You'll marvel at the architecture of the mill period, and while walking the area, you'll also enjoy today's vibrant life:...More

There's no reason NOT to visit. I know that isn't terribly helpful a review, but there's not much else to say. Park in the visitor's center parking lot, drop in the center, see what's going on, and go for it! Summer is a great time...More

We did the canal boat tour, plus Booth Cotton Mills Museum and the Mill Girls/Immigrant Display. It was great to be outside on the water and very interesting to learn the history of the Industrial Revolution in New England. The downtown area of Lowell is...More

This tour was so interesting and unique. To actually see the mill machines from the 1800's (in good working condition) was amazing

I live in Lowell (as a transplant from Chicago) and have taken the Canal Tour twice and have enjoyed it and learned something new each time. Took it today and had Ranger Victor, who was extremely knowledgeable, passionate, funny and entertaining. The tour takes you...More

Awesome visit -- learned much. Kids enjoyed. Allow plenty of time as lots to see. The paid museum pass is good for 7 days -- if you can spread it out, that would be good.
