We visited just after Christmas to see the Christmas lights and it was captivating. The price was very reasonable, parking was plentiful (we got there a little early), and the garden is big enough that we never felt like we were in a crowd. The light displays were excellent and included lights representing animals as diverse as a unicorn to... More

My young children and I held a membership to the gardens for 3-4 years. At first I was skeptical about bringing three little kids to a garden, wondering what in the world we'd do there. My mistake to worry! Every visit was different, allowed for ample exploring, plenty of shaded space in which to play, beautiful picnicking spots, water play... More

I took my company to Lewis Ginter, we had 40 people for dinner/buffet. First class service and quality of food. A real gem for a RVA event.

We went here in July and the Lego Display was excellent. Lego display in the gardens were amazing. But also the Lego activity inside the museum was outstanding. Lunch in the cafe was excellent - gluten free options for lunch.

Beautiful flowers and plants, the different themed areas were nice to explore. The butterflies live exhibit was very nice but the line was LONG. We waited in line for over 2 hours and almost gave up. We went on July 4th when admission is free, so that could have been the reason the line was so bad. Well worth the... More

An abundance of different styles of gardens and flowers. Throughout the year, they have different exhibits, such as a butterfly garden, and multiple displays at Christmas time, including the Garden Fest of Lights. There is always something for all ages to enjoy!

Walking thru the gardens in any season is wonderful. Christmas is especially exciting because of the jaw-dropping light displays. The food is "meh." Good gift shop.

Went with my Son and his family, which they have an 8 month old, and it was a Great Day. The baby enjoyed the butterflies as did we all, and the Lego statues were fun to hunt down and see. A very fun day!!
