This museum has so much to offer the whole family. The exhibits range from an art gallery to interactive programs for kids. Many of the exhibits are not just artifacts but in many ways you can see history come to life.

We came here primarily to do research in the Va Historical Society library - they could NOT have been more helpful. The museum was an added bonus, but probably worth a half-day in itself.

The collection of artifacts is amazing, but even better than that is the knowledge one gains just from walking through the exhibits. This gives a fantastic overview of the history of Virginia.
