Cartoon is must see area in Richmond. Shops, restaurants and boutiques of all kinds for every palate. There's even a beautifully restored movie theater The Byrd.

Spent nice afternoon in carytown. Visited several nice shops, apparel and chocolates. We also ate at a great Greek restaurant named Greek on Cary. Service and food were great. Will definitely return

Carytown is a pleasant and gentrified part of Richmond that is well worth spending some time walking around. It has many and varied small shops as well as several food choices.

The answers provided are correct. I don't think any restaraunts allow dogs in. But, some shops will allow them. I know there is a dog pet treat shop that you and your dog can shop at.

Many of the shops keep their own, non-standard hours. I am sure you can check online for a specific shop. But, if that isn't an option, I would stick to 10-5 for M-S and on Sunday, 12-5. For example, Ten Thousand... More

Carytown is a busy place but not impossible for parking. It just looks that way. Try Cary Court next to Can Can Restaurant or street parking on Cary Street and side streets.There is mid-block parking behind some Cary Street... More
