RIR is a super fun, super convenient track for NASCAR racing. We have season tickets and a reserved RV site. RV sites are large and generally level. RV camping sans hook ups, however, water and pump out service is available during the race week. RIR has plenty of food and beverage vendors and a host of pre-race activities that are... More

RIR may not seem that exciting because it's not a super speedway but once those lights Coke on this little place comes to life. I've always had a good time when going to this track. Not one complaint! Definitely recommend getting the pit passes and enjoying the free food while you explore the pit stalls.

The best part of coming to the Raceway for a race is the tailgating. The people are always friendly, and willing to share. Make sure you bring your own shade, because there is little in the parking lots. They have taken out some of the seats in the back stretch however that hasn't done much to take from the race... The best place to sit is at the first turn. Dogwood Section. What is amazing is how fast they go on such a short track. If you have never been to a Nascar race go at least once. There is no other experience like it!

Enjoyed a fun weekend organized around the nascar race. It's an exciting track to see a race at. We had a blast.

After I researched the RIR website, I noticed there were no tours listed, so I sent an email asking if we could visit the track. I received an email back saying to just stop by and we'll take you on a tour! We did just that, and boy or boy are we glad we did. They took the two of... More

It is great for Nascar races. They have food, nonachoholic and achoholic beverages and all of the emblem shirts, jackets, stickers, hats, and more of your favorite things of your favorite driver and team. It is so much fun. They also have exhibits on other days. Much to see when they do have them.

Our first time at this track, with the family group, that included guys from 20-78 years old. There was quite a bit of walking from the camping area where we stayed. They provided golf cart transportation for my Dad, and others who could fit, back and forth several times to the track. Great times, and excellent service and attitudes by... More

We visited Richmond Virginia in October 2016 with family who had travelled from Northern Ireland to the USA to see the sights of Virginia. We drove up from North Carolina to travel with our Irish family throughout Virginia. We called into the Raceway during the week to see of they provided tours. They had us come by and we received... Having first attended a race in 1997 I can say that the atmosphere at these events is electrified and it's easily the equivalent of going to a 3 day outdoor festival like Woodstock and thankfully without the illicit substances. This trip was my first attending Richmond, but I had been to Pocono, Dover, and Phoenix before each track providing its... More
