A national and state historic landmark, this performing arts center was originally opened in 1928 as an elegant and lavishly designed Loews movie palace and has since been restored to its former splendor. Performances run the gamut from opera, symphony and concerts to comedy, song, children's entertainment and family shows.

We have been to this venue multiple times but love it most for the Nutcracker every December. All seats on the first mezzanine are great. Acoustics are unbelievable.

The theater itself is deceptively small. Or maybe deceptively large. It seems like there would be more bad seats, but it seems like most seats in the house have a pretty good view. I like the acoustics as well. There's some cool decorations above and...More

This was once a vaudeville & movie palace. The original decor has been spiffed and the stage expanded to create a wonderful venue for classical concerts. Check out City Parking's lot on Broad immediately behind Center Stage for convenient parking.

What a wonderful and exciting experience. The seats were comfortable and spacious. The audio system there was amazing. I really enjoyed myself.

Worth a trip to see the inside and find a seat that fits your preferences. Leg room is tight and some seats don't offer the best view of the stage.
