We attended a play here that my step-daughter was in. Nice, intimate theater that is open just about every day of the year. Simple stage that they transform through simple staging options. If your taste runs toward the intimate and avant guarde, we would highly recommend this (but not for children). They have a small bar and you can take... More

It's amazing that these cute little venues are popping up for theatre groups! Attended a production called Caberet! and the place was packed!!! A former firehouse building that has been restored and converted to a theatre, it is easy to find parking. A huge Lowe's across the street provided ample parking A reception area serves wine, beer and sodas for... More

Saw "American Idiot" at the Firehouse last night. First time at this Theatre. Did not know what to expect. The performance was incredible, acoustics were fantastic. It is a small venue, but very accommodating...every seat is a GREAT SEAT to see the show. They have a bar to grab drinks before the show, and you can take them into the... More

I really enjoy theater, but I truly love this hidden gem off Broad Street in the Fan District of Richmond. There are many shows that are without intermission that allow for uniterrupted entertainmenr -- it really is a testament to the superb performances of those in the Arts. I will continue to support this theater as there is a lot... More

I love this theatre. Small, quaint. They perform some really good plays, not the run-of-the-mill stuff. And there's parking across the street in the Lowe's parking lot, ok'd by Lowe's. You can grab dinner or a drink at The Camel a few doors down. Highly recommend season tix for this theatre.

The Firehouse Theater Project is a quaint theater with great acoustics that sits a small audience letting you really feel the performance. My husband and I saw Death of a Salesman and I could feel not only myself being incredibly moved, but the entire audience. Nick said it was the best performance he'd ever seen and it is one of...
