Altria theater, formerly Landmark theater formerly the Richmond Mosque, has the best acoustics anywhere. The building itself is also beautiful and reminiscent of Islamic architecture, hence the original name. If you are attending a show here you will not regret it!

Sadly, it's not open as a venue to view. Take a look the next time there's something there you might want to see! (I just checked the website to make sure there are no special days when one can simply visit.)
