My kids (17 & 22) did the lower James rafting trip through downtown Richmond. Guide was great, but she couldn’t help but get us stuck in the rocks over and over again. We had 2 women and 3 guys. No one was overweight. Everyone enjoyed...More

Thank you for taking the time to leave feedback. The guides and myself always keep our fingers crossed for rain, but July is typically when we start seeing dryer weather in this region. April, May and June is when we typically see more spring rain...More

I rafted with Riverside Outfitters many years ago, and thought I would try it again. I really enjoyed the experience even though I fell out of the raft :-) Guides were great and everyone was very friendly.

Came for a bachelor party. Our guide was awesome, knew a bunch of history about the surrounding area, and saved a person who went overboard on a rapid. Lots of fun

We had a great time. Our guides, Ryan, Adam and Garrett, were fun and even though the water was at 9’ we always felt safe. Would do it again with RO anytime.

Great way to celebrate with friends pre-wedding! We had a few first-time rafters and a few veteran rafters in our group. Our guides were excellent!

So popular, sign up your children early! Children will appreciate the beauty and power of nature while building teamwork skills and confidence. Reasonably priced. Check it out!

Taking a large group of Boy Scouts on the James River couldn't be easier. Riverside Outfitters made a float trip on the James trouble free and affordable. We just needed to bring some water and sunscreen.
