This is a small place, but so important. Don't we take our religious freedom for granted? This museum explains how it all came about.... and it all started here in Richmond.

Our trolley tour guide pointed out this new little museum so we stopped by after the tour and learned a bit about Virginia's Statute for Religious Freedom. The exhibits were interesting and served as great background for our visit to Monticello the following day.

This is a well done little museum. It has both exhibits to read and to watch, which was great for my son who doesn't love to read. Overall a nice little find.

A small museum along Cary Street on the site of the signing of the Virginia Declaration of Rights. Small historical exhibition of some famous moments of these freedoms. The Center has printed copies of some of these speeches and writings for you to take.
