- We Like to TravelColorado Springs, Colorado167 contributionsCola historyWe visited Coca-Cola as we were able to get some tickets at the end of the day. We had about 2hrs to see what we could as there were summer crowds. It could be worth a visit during the off season but glad we were able to visit. If you are a Coca-Cola enthusiast, then this place is for you. The coke tasting at the end was interesting. From there we entered their gift shop that has many good finds. We appreciate you taking the time to let us know about your experience. - Miranda108 contributionsFun and quick experience! We had a few hours in between other tours so we decided to stop at the world of Coca-Cola! You get s free postcard when entering which is nice. Then you enter a room with a bunch of nostalgia pieces and get a brief history of the creation of Coca-Cola. We saw the vault where they keep the secret formula, got to play a smell/senses game which was fun, and saw more pieces of memorabilia. The best part is the last room where you could try different coke products from all over the world! We tried sprite with cucumbers, a plum drink, Beverly, and a bunch of other things. Overall the experience was interesting and fun. You don't need a lot of time to go through it either.Visited March 2024Travelled with familyWritten March 11, 2024
- Sara G.Saint Louis, Missouri965 contributionsGrowth of a Business by 1,000,000% in 30 YearsLet’s be a tourist in Atlanta over lunch. World of Coca Cola it is. I didn’t know Coca-Cola owned literally everything lol. The exhibit is a spot that allows you to interact with the brand via a lab, the vault, scent evaluation, history impact and taste testing. Some fun facts: 1. 1886 pharmacists John Lemberton created and sold Coca Cola at Jacobs Pharmacy. Sold at 5 cents. 2. Asa Candler bought the recipe from Pemberton in 1889 for $2,300 and sold it for $25 million 1919. 3. In 2011, the secret formula was placed at the centre of a permanent exhibit called The Vault. You can visit the Vault today. So much memorabilia. Unbelievable. We are glad that you had a memorable and enjoyable experience and loved the history along with The World of Coca-Cola's gift shop and Taste It! Exhibit. It’s not a big museum, it has few exhibits but this is all made up for in the tasting room. At the end of the tour you will have a chance to taste test every single product that Coke currently distributes and has distributed. This is great for soda lovers and kids. Thanks for the review! - Jason GBaltimore, Maryland700 contributionsA Giant Commercial, but Still Worth ItThe experience is basically one giant commercial, so you feel like you've been sold a bit by the end of the experience, but they at least make it fun in the process, so kudos to Coke for pulling it off. Understandably, since this is a family place, they gloss over the less savory parts of the history of the product, so if you care about the true history of Coke, do yourself a favor and Google it. Tasting room is amazing, so be sure to save plenty of time for that.Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts on World of Coca-Cola. We're glad to hear that you found the experience to be enjoyable overall, especially the Taste It! exhibit. We strive to make the experience both educational and entertaining for our visitors. This February I made up my mind and went. I loved it, especially the interactive parts. Thinking that there is so much history behind a drink is fascinating. We're glad that you were finally able to visit and enjoyed the exhibits. - KevinMountain View, California292 contributionsFun time, a little smaller than I thought it would be.This place had some interesting exhibits. Being that Coca-Cola was invented in Atlanta, it's cool to see some history and memorabilia and how it's associated with the city. You get to read about the history of how Coke was invented and see a bunch of different products on display from Coca-Cola (including all the other beverages the company owns). The tasting room was cool as you could sample many different Coca-Cola products from around the world. Even though we went on a Thursday morning, it was a little busy because we were there at the same time as a school field trip was happening, but the staff did a good job of organizing to make sure the regular guests didn't get mixed up with the school groups. Overall, I had a fun 2 hours exploring, but I thought the building was smaller than I thought it was going to be.We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the exhibits! We appreciate your understanding during the busy time with the school field trip and are pleased to hear that our ambassadors were able to manage the crowds effectively. We hope you'll come back and visit us again soon - there's always something new to discover!Written April 29, 2024This response is the subjective opinion of the management representative and not of Tripadvisor LLC.Visited April 2024Travelled with familyWritten April 27, 2024

Otherwise pass…We were stopping in Atlanta overnight and this was advertised as a main attraction. $20 tickets seems like a lot unless you like drinking soda (unlimited). Otherwise the attraction includes the origin story of Coke and lots of marketing. Should have been free admission. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback. - Javiera Baeza SSantiago, Chile27 contributionsRegular OutlookI had high expectations of the place, I honestly expected much more. To take photos with the bear there are schedules, they allow you to use your cell phone only with selfie mode and they take a photo of you, which they sell at the end of the tour. The most entertaining room is the tasting room, you have access to all the drinks/soft drinks in the world and you can try them all. When you leave there you go to a large souvenir shop, where you will find many things about Coca Cola and its associated brands. **I recommend NOT visiting during the weekend, because the place is very busy and there will be many lines.Visited May 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten May 16, 2024
- Perception0Seoul, South Korea102 contributionsA place where you can see the history and present of Coca-ColaThere are many good things to see. I recommend this to fans of the Coca-Cola Company. In particular, there is a place where you can drink carbonated drinks on the second floor, which was very interesting. It's one of the most visited places in Atlanta's downtown location, along with the aquarium right next door.Visited April 2024Travelled as a coupleWritten May 18, 2024

It was a great experience for everyone - Three adults, A six year old, A nine year old and me. There was a lot to do including the intro - a video - the vault with the secret formula for Coca Cola - you can't see it of course. There was also a smelling area with a fun game that we all enjoyed and an area where you meet the Coke Polar Bear. The only issues were that there were a lot of people and queues meaning it was very hot and took a long time to get everyone around the museum. Also the floors in the tasting rooms were very sticky but that's my only complaints. Overall a great experience!

This was not our family’s favorite experience. We waited in line for about 40 minutes before making it into the building where we waited for about 5 minutes to enter another waiting room before watching a Coke commercial, then finally entering the museum-esque area. The Vault area was interesting but crowded and designed in a way that made it difficult to read the information on the walls. We enjoyed the scent experience area and my husband liked the tasting room. (But holy moly our shoes were so sticky that I’m certain if we would have worn slip-ons they would have come right off!) Overall it was an underwhelming experience.

We went with low expectations after reading reviews here but we enjoyed it! Every employee was SO kind. They really made the visit. We went right at 10 on a Wednesday morning & were able to enjoy most of it with no crowds. The movie at the beginning was touching but absolutely unrelated to Coke. As someone else mentioned, people with sensory issues should take caution. The “Vault” has numerous videos with audio playing simultaneously & I could totally see it being too overwhelming. We parked at the Aquarium no trouble. The kids enjoyed meeting the polar bear, who was extremely sweet to them. Definitely worth the visit (and the city pass that grants you access to several Atlanta attractions has been WELL worth the purchase!)

$54 for two adults which is extortionate given the experience. Lots of queuing, a 6 minute ‘people’s true stories with coke’ presentation which fake, cringeworthy and essentially an advert all followed by a quick and mediocre museum and gift shop. Save your money on this attraction and spend it on the amazing Georgia aquarium which is opposite.

It almost seems like a requirement to visit the World of Coca-Cola if you're visiting Atlanta and it is a fun and worthwhile stop. It's well organized and gives a very good history of the product and the people who got this iconic beverage going. There's plenty to do, lots of interactive exhibits and of course the tasting room. While you learn a lot about the history, I would have liked to have seen more about its production.
While it seems like a requirement, and I do recommend it, I actually can't put it in the "must see" category. It's fun, it's worth the price of admission, but there are better things to do and if you're short on time, this is something that can wait until the next trip.

I love Coke and I was hoping this was going to be awesome, but I left completely confused. I'm not sure what I paid for to visit this. This museum/experience is all over the place. First you get crammed into a little room with items of coke logos all over them. It would have been nice to look around, but it was just a staging area before we were forced into watching a short movie which had absolutely nothing to do with Coke. Then we were off to the actual museum/experience. There was some memorabilia scattered throughout, but everything felt disjointed, separated, and just odd in the whole place. There were a couple of experiences that had certain times and we lucked out with timing and were able to see the 3-D, which was also confusing and we were able to get a photo with someone dressed up as the coke bear. The best part was the tasting room where you could try beverages from around the world, but after all of that, we left with tummies that didn't feel so great. Honestly, I wish someone else had written a review like this so we could have saved our money for something else in Atlanta, because this was a worthless rip off.

Sorry, but we just cannot figure out what the draw is to this attraction. We gave it a fair chance because we had the city pass and a free day left on our vacation. The attraction is primarily a museum of coke artifacts. You can see advertising items though the years and learn the history of Coke. You can also get this info on-line. The exhibits (if you call them that) were out-dated and boring. The taste testing was the most interesting part but crowded and not worth the admission. The Coke Museum should absolutely be free of charge without an entrance or parking fee because it is a promo for the company. We would not return and would not recommend it. This is something to do if you have absolutely nothing else to pass the time and excess money to spend.

Although I didn't give it an Excellent rating, I still would say this is a must see while in Atlanta. The admission price was reasonable. We waited in line for a while for most of the things here. There seemed to be numerous very large children groups present while we were there. It didn't get an Excellent rating from me because although the guy getting you hyped up at the beginning was very informative and entertaining, it seemed like an unnecessary part of the museum. Another unnecessary part of the museum was the video that followed. It was a nice enough video, but that's not what I wanted when I paid for my ticket. After that, it's a little more free reign of you getting to pick what you want to see. We went with the vault first which was a neat experience. I don't know if I believe that's where the actual recipe, but it was a neat experience getting to the vault. There are a couple of other rooms with lots of old and neat Coke items. It was pretty crazy to learn about how much Coke was bought and sold for. Upstairs is the tasting room which was very crowded but a neat experience. The sour plum is absolutely horrid in all of our opinions but it was still neat to try. I don't know a number exactly but I would say there's about 100 different Coke products from around the world you can try. They boasted more (300 I think was about what they were saying) but it seemed like they got that number from the big Coke dispensing machines where you can add flavors to Coke products like you can find in some restaurants. That doesn't really count in my opinion. They have a very large and nice gift shop that you have to go through to exit. All in all, a good experience.

Museum that makes you feel like you’re having fun instead of learning! Tasting section had me trying flavors from areas of the world I’d never experience otherwise. Only thing I’d like to see is less timed activities. Every part of the museum, you have to wait a certain amount of minutes to enter and it made me feel a bit rushed in some parts but waiting long for only a small section in others. It was great tho! Had fun and would love to take my parents someday!

Coke has scaled back the fun part of the museum...the drink sampling area. The last time I was there, maybe 10 years ago, there was an amazing selection of Coke owned beverages from all over the world, separated by continents. It was really fun to taste all the flavors that the various cultures find tasty. That's pretty much been gutted now, and just a relative handful of interesting Coke products can be sampled. This is otherwise just a giant advertisement for Coke, and it costs 20 bucks to get in.
The attendants that run the place were fake pleasant and mostly I saw a lot of them standing around talking with each other. Loudly.
Sorry, Coke, you ruined this one somehow, and I will not be back. You all made a great experience mediocre. I left the World of Coke...wanting a Pepsi.

Where is the best cheap parking
Written August 27, 2024
There are parking garages all around. You can pay by the hour. If you want to park at a Marta lot and ride the train or take a bus in you can walk to the area.

Do they do personalized coke bottles at their gift shop? Or only online?

Do you need to get a timed ticket ahead of time, or can you just show up and get tickets at the door?
Written January 31, 2024
You can get at the door in the winter, on the summer with the crowds you might not be able to, if you planning in visiting the Aquarium and maybe some other attraction, I recommend the City Pass, it will save you money.

Can you change your entry time? We booked tickets for 12 but forgot that we have a reservation at the same time elsewhere. Would we be able to call and change time or can we just show up at a later time and still enter?

We use the city pass, so we did not need to have an entry time. It is my guess that they would be willing to work with you, especially if it is not very crowded.

There were ramps and elevators inside the World of Coca-Cola. Some exhibits like the tasting room, and quiz game may be a little difficult to utilize from a wheelchair or scooter, But the floor plans were fairly open except in the gift shop which was slightly difficult to maneuver.

Do you get to pick which sodas you try in the tasting room? This is the main reason for our visit. Before covid my husband went and was able to try as many as he wanted. So im curious if this will be a waste of time.
