Overview
More
This extraordinary zoo, one of the oldest in the U.S., underwent a multi-million dollar renovation in the 1980s and is still expanding. Its landscaping replicates the natural habitats of the numerous animals, some of which are endangered species. Four panda bears from China delight the crowds, and groups of gorillas separated by moats do their own share of entertaining.

This zoo is something special. The Panda's are worth coming to see. If you see nothing else, the Panda's are really cool.

Make sure you use the map they give you or you’ll miss something. Not a clear path to cover entire place. Have to back track a bit. Was able to see animals not at my Home zoo. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will go back.

Unfortunately a portion of the zoo is under construction but there was still plenty of things to do for all ages. Lots of animals and they have pandas. There are also several gift shops. Great place to hang out. It is also a part of...More

Seemed a bit overpriced for size and number of animals it has, but it was beautiful winter day and animals they did havee were active making it worthwhile. Well layed out and easy to walk + free parking (made the day worthwhile)More

Good morning. We appreciate your taking the time to leave a review. During the winter, it must feel like 45 - 50 degrees for all the animals to be out. Some of our animals are behind the scenes at this time in anticipation of our...More

Daughter loves zoo and we try to visit zoos when traveling. This one was better than some. They do have a myriad of animals and the day we were there, most of them were out and could be seen.

I gave the zoo 4 stars because of the friendly staff, and of course seeing the pandas. That being said because of the cooler weather most animals were not on display understandably but if the zoo is going to be open and the animals not...More

I enjoyed the Zoo in Atlanta, even though it was a little chilly the animals were up and moving. Only disappointment that there were no giraffes because they are renovating a certain part of the zoo were the giraffes use to be.More
