Great Times Here

Beautiful and fun filled stadium. Had an opportunity to attend quite a few ball games and events. Looking forward to what may be in store with the new stadium.

First baseball game experience in the stands. The Braves played terrible, but the announcer was like a comedy show, and the food and beer were good! There were awesome food options.

Sadly the Atlanta Braves will be moving to newer digs in 2017 so we've seen our last Braves game played here. But it was a nice venue for the period.

Built for the 1996 Olympic Games, Turner Field was created out of a downsized Olympic Stadium. Now, in the next few years, it will be redeveloped into a football stadium for Georgia State University (now the largest university in Georgia at 50,000+ students). So if you want to see the real deal, go soon. It is a beautiful stadium with... More

Who doesn't love Baseball? Turner field is a nostalgic stadium, a must visit for any Baseball fan. The amenities are average, it's not a "must-see" stadium in the MLB as far as prestige is concerned. A lot of things were outdated in regards to what's presented in the newer stadiums but I'm glad I got to visit it before they... More

Went to see this ballpark before it was torn down, I can see why they built a new stadium in Atlanta. Concessions were a long walk away and not worth the walk.

Batter Up! Okay, so I am a big Braves fan and like to catch a game when I can, and this part is one of the better parks out there. Clean, (bathrooms can always use cleaning) and what you would expect to pay for treats and beer.

I attended one of the last games of the season as well as in the stadium which was fun and after the game there were fireworks. The only disappointing thing was the nacho chips were stale and the sodas were flat so I opted out for traditional baseball drink, a beer.

Turner Field was built for the 1996 Atlanta Olympics as the track and field venue, then converted to baseball afterward, all according to a plan. As the home of the Braves through 2016, it served well as a baseball park, much better than the old Atlanta Fulton County stadium, a round multipurpose facility that didn't fit anyone well, but was...
