Got here a tad late and had to rush. Which was a shame. A hidden gem. Very nice Civil War exhibit. Lovely grounds with restored homes.

This is a great place to explore if you have a few hours. My favorite is The Swan House - but the Tullie Smith Farm is also very interesting. There are also permanent and temporary exhibits. Nice museum gift shop too. I have been multiple...More

Being a "Yankee" I feel that we were taught a slightly different version of the Civil War and general southern history. It was eye opening to see the information here and especially the living history portion. I wish we had put this as a longer...More

A lot of interesting historical facts about Atlanta can be gleaned from a visit to this site. Located in a beautiful area of the city. It is well worth the visit and reasonably priced.

The Civil war gallery was excellent, very informative and I like the way it was laid out. We ran out of time seeing the whole thing, I would recommend seeing that part first.

Wow. It goes on and on. I've been to museums all over the world and this is a great one. Something for everyone, from kids to grandparents. Wonderful hands on exhibits, acres of gardens and a god restaurant. Don't miss it!

We went to the history center with our children age 5,7 and 11. They had fun but this center would have been better enjoyed without them. The kids liked seeing the animals and running around outside but didn’t find many of the indoor exhibits interesting....More

There a some ramps but there are elevators in the building. Sorry for the delay in response. The building is old but they are current with codes.
